Teaching a theoretical and hands-on introduction to Permaculture in Lima, Peru
The goal of the Peru Permaculture project is to share, develop, and inform our country, and the world, of all the findings and developments regarding permaculture. Peru is renowned in permaculture for having the most efficient ancient cultures in terms of productivity, and efficacy, and this is why emphasize sharing this wisdom. Under these parameters, the Peruvian association of permaculturists was created. This association leads a network that unites and informs, all efforts and projects that follow the vision, and mission, of permaculture. In addition, the project Permacultura Peru has developed, and established the Permaculture Institute of Peru (PIP) (http://www.permaculturaperu.com/), where research and development of the agricultural areas of permaculture take place. Casa Ninfa is the Center for Holistic Arts, the development of “zone zero”, the internal life of the permaculturist. At Casa Ninfa you will find all kinds of courses and workshops, yoga, meditation, dance, and other healing arts. ww.casaninfa.com . Both the PIP, and Casa Ninfa develop the arts, and agricultural projects to benefit low-income families, and communities in our country.
Since 2009 the project has been organizing free, monthly courses, for low-income families in Peru, with the help and initiative of volunteers, organizers, and the founders of the Permacultura Peru.
