Teach students permaculture, nonviolent communication, at an orphanage school
The school was started in 2003 by Rodi Township self Help Group based in Rodi Kopany Market centre, in Homa Bay District.
The Self Help Group whose membership comprises five local teachers felt there was a need for a good primary school to uplift the low education standards of education which was brought about by introduction of Free Primary Education.
The school which was started in makeshift structures has grown within the last nine years. The school currently has an enrolment of 425 pupils from Pre-School to standard eight. The school is now a home to 42 orphaned children who have been given a full sponsorship by management.
